Meet the Officers
Ethan Moore
President
Ethan is a fourth year from Cincinnati double majoring in Finance and German. He only started skiing as a freshman, but now competes in jump! Ethan loves to find the humor in everything and will always brighten your day!
Darren Waunn
Vice President
Darren "Dazza" is a second year from Naperville, Illinois in Fisher College of Business. His favorite event is slalom, but he also competes in jump. Dazza started skiing at 5 years old and is so happy to continue in college!
Sydney Farwick
Treasurer
Following in both of her older brothers' footsteps, Sydney joined the team as a freshman and has loved it ever since. She water skied a bit before college, but began competing at Ohio State. She is a third year studying data analytics and loves to support her teammates both financially and otherwise!
Jessie O'Connell
Secretary
Jessie is a third year from Westchester, New York, studying strategic communications and Italian. She started skiing at sleepaway camp, but has loved learning more about three event skiing in college! Her favorite events are trick and slalom and she can't wait to see everyone on the water!
Tori Finwall
Women's Captain

This is Tori's fourth year on the team, and she began skiing second semester of her first year. Now, she competes for trick and slalom and is one of our top scoring skiers! Her favorite part of being on the team is the supportive atmosphere, and she firmly believes that anyone can learn how to ski!
Cole Hoekstra
Men's Captain
Cole Hoekstra is a fourth year from Aurora, Illinois, studying finance with a minor in philospohy. He began skiing at 12, but started competitive water skiing in college. His favorite event is slalom, although trick is a close second. Cole loves the energy of the team and is so excited to be men's captain!
Matt Miller
Equipment Manager
Matt is a third year from Virginia studying Mechanical Engineering. He has skied all three events practically his whole life and loves them all, but especially slalom. His favorite part about the waterski team is getting to go out to the practice lake to ski and coach! Matt is very knowledgable about skiing and can't wait to help with the equipment!
Emily Schaefer
Travel Coordinator
Emily is a third year from Cincinnati studying Health and Rehabilitation sciences. She has been skiing since she was a sophomore in high school, and joined the team as a freshman. She now loves to ski all three events. Her favorite part of the ski team is how supportive we are of each other!
Remy Knopping
Spirit Captain
Remy is in her fourth year studying accounting and from North Caldwell, New Jersey. She learned to ski at camp, but continued freeskiing after at home. Remy's favorite events are slalom and trick. Remy is so happy to ski for Ohio State, and loves to cheer everyone on!
